FUNDING

There are several funding options which may assist with the cost of accessing services.  These include:

Private Health

Invoices may be claimed for rebate from your private health fund. Contact your fund to see if your level of cover entitles you to a rebate for speech pathology services.

Medicare Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Plans

We provide services under Chronic Disease Management (CDM) Medicare items on the Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS). Eligibility for this plan is determined by GPs, based on your level of need. In these cases, a partial refund for up to five services per calendar year is available.

The refund does not cover the full cost of sessions, and sessions must be paid in full prior to accessing refunds. We do not bulk bill.  For more information contact your GP, or visit Speech Pathology Australia or The Department of Health.

CANCELLATION FEES

Cancellation notice is required 48 hours prior to the appointment. If notice is not given or is within 48 hours, a cancellation fee will be charged at the discretion of the service provider, at a rate of 90% of the appointment fee.
